It's a Gas at Cyclacel!

One Scottish company who are reaping the benefits of In House Gas generators are Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals.

A biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery, development and commercialisation of drugs to treat cancers and other serious disorders, Cyclacel’s primary research facility is located in Dundee, a city with a fine tradition in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical sectors.

The company felt that a central compressed air point and several point of use nitrogen generators would give a considerable advantage over traditional cylinders and liquid supply. The laboratory has several LC/MS systems which require a consistent supply of nitrogen gas.  Cyclacel have improved equipment downtime and workplace and efficiency since the implementation of the current gas delivery system.

Facilities Manager Anna Florence said “Since we installed In House Gas generators, we no longer have to stop work to change cylinders.  The generators operate quietly in the laboratory and having a comprehensive maintenance contract with In House Gas gives us peace of mind that the system is always achieving optimum performance.”
